Re-pairing the A250

First make sure the dongle/transmitter is turned off (so the blue light is off).

Make sure the Speaker is in Wireless mode, the display should say ‘----‘ not ‘LINE’

If you are in ‘LINE’ mode then press the play button for 5 seconds to change it to Wireless mode.

To get the A-250 in discovery mode, press the  FORWARDS (>)and BACK (<)buttons for 5 seconds till the wireless symbol in the LCD display is flashing quickly

Then turn on the dongle/transmitter and let them re-pair.  If they don’t pair and turn off let the dongle continue to flash - turn the speaker back on and then press both buttons again for 5 seconds.  Repeat till they re-pair.

If they continue to not re-pair then please email techsupport@saitek.com (quote you have tried this fix)

A250 Sound Setup

If you are not getting any sounds from the speaker but have an OK on the LED screen then try this:

Try changing the audio device for Windows

Change the Playback device to one of these (whatever’s available to you):

A-250 Speakers and System Speakers

The A-250 speakers will take over the sound by default, this is the same for all USB audio devices and you can’t have the USB speakers and the 3.5mm jack input System speakers playing the same song from the same player.

You can sort of get round this by having the system speakers as the Window’s default ones by going to the Control Panel

To play music through the A-250 Wireless speakers:

You will then have the normal sound going through the main speakers and the music through the A-250.

Re-pairing the A350

If the headset and the transmitter seem unpaired then you can try to repair them.

Make sure both of them are switched on and the LED's are flashing

Press the small pair button under the pair LED on the transmitter - you should see the LED flash fast red and blue.

Then try pressing the - Volume & +Volume buttons on the headset at the same time for about 5 seconds to get them in discovery mode (If the LED’s stop flashing on either unit – turn off and then on again and repeat the pairing process).

When in pairing mode the headset LED should flash a little faster.  When they pair you should hear 3 bleeps from the headset.  It might take a few times to pair since there are a lot of channels to search - so repeat the process till they are properly paired.
