Controller Level
Problems:
My controller appears to be dead and doesnt even appear in the device manager on any system.
Test:
Plug the controller into a different USB port, test the controller on another system.
Solutions:
At this level if the controller isnt being detected on any system, if it has a power adapter make sure that it hasnt blown and that the device is powered. Try new batteries.
If this still doesn't work, check the power settings for the USB ports. If you still don't get anything, it will most likely need repaired/ exchanged.
